Staying Healthy When Returning to Work

Stay Safe and Healthy When Returning to Work

As people across the United States learn how to navigate the global pandemic, businesses are beginning to return to their physical locations to resume work. Whether you have returned to work, may be returning soon, or are looking forward to returning to businesses that were previously closed, keep these tips in mind in order to keep your co-workers, family, and yourself safe.

Social distance

Medical professionals across the globe recommend keeping six feet between yourself and others as much as you can. At this distance, projectiles sprayed from speaking, coughing, or sneezing should not affect you.

Wear a mask

If you are unable to keep six feet between yourself and others, wearing a mask over your mouth and nose is a great line of defense. Keep even more safe by wearing both a mask and keeping socially distant.

Wash your hands

To keep free of germs, wash your hands frequently for a minimum of 20 seconds. If you cannot wash your hands, keep hand-sanitizer handy and use that instead.

Be smart

If doing something does not seem like a smart decision, consider listening to your gut. Make sure you do what is best for you and your health.
