Stay Healthy, Avoid COVID-19

Stay Healthy During These Trying Times

The health and safety of our patients and staff is of the utmost importance to the executives at Advanced Wellness and Rejuvenation. Our offices always have been properly sanitized and disinfected to ensure the health of everyone who walks through our doors. To further ensure that safety, we closely monitor the updates and advice given by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and incorporate them into our business.

Whether you are self-isolating or practicing social distancing, there are a few very manageable things you can do to keep yourself, and others, healthy and safe. Follow these pieces of advice to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Regularly wash your hands

Use soap and water to thoroughly clean your hands, knuckles, in between fingers, and backs of hands, for a minimum of 20 seconds to kill any lingering germs and viruses. Soap and water is the best choice for keeping clean, but if you cannot wash your hands with soap and water for whatever reason, use alcohol-based hand sanitizers.

Practice social distancing

Keep three feet to six between yourself and others when possible– be it at a grocery store or talking with your neighbor. When someone coughs or sneezes, the distance will help you avoid breathing in the droplets sprayed that could contain the virus.

Don’t touch your face

We touch a wide variety of surfaces that could be host a virus. When you touch your eyes, nose, and mouth, you could transfer the virus and make you sick. Avoiding touching your face (and make sure you wash your hands!) will help.

Practice proper respiratory hygiene

Make sure you cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze. Use a tissue or your inner elbow to avoid spreading germs. Remind others to do the same to keep yourself and others safe from viruses.

If you have cough, fever, and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention

As usual, stay home if you feel ill, but if you experience a cough, fever, and difficulty breathing together, seek medical attention as soon as possible. National and local medical authorities have the most up-to-date information on the virus, but make sure you call ahead to keep others safe if you potentially carry the virus.

So stay healthy, stay safe, and with all illnesses, stay hydrated!
