Advanced Wellness and Rejuvenation offers medically supervised weight loss that works through our Advanced Weight Loss Program. If you’ve ever been interested in medically supervised weight loss, but don’t know where to start, read through these answers about why the Advanced Weight Loss Program works.

What is the Advanced Weight Loss Program?

Advanced Weight Loss is a customized and medically supervised program that isn’t based around pre-packaged meals, protien bars, or shakes. The program is centered around creating new habits that increase metabolism, decrease cravings, improve health, lose weight, and maintain results, all while eating real food. Through achieving that weight loss goal, patients are able to eliminate or decrease medication for hypertension, diabetes, acid reflux, arthritis, sleep apnea, irritable bowel syndrome, and inflammatory medical conditions.

How is Advanced Weight Loss different than other programs?

Advanced Weight Loss offers individualized programs created to fit the patient’s needs. There isn’t one set answer to everyone’s weight loss goals, so the medical personal work with the patient to figure out what plan best fits their current health, their weight loss/health goals, and their lifestyle.

The program also utilizes Crave Control Supplement to help diminish carbohydrate cravings. Crave Control causes the release of dopamine and serotonin, which has been shown to reduce carbohydrate cravings.

How much weight loss can I expect?

On this program, female patients tend to lose between 25-35 pounds, while males lose between 35-45 pounds in the twelve week option. Individual weight loss results may vary.

What if I have “slow metabolism?”

No problem! The program is designed to increase your metabolic rate through the adaptation of your eating habits, your exercise plan, and the use of the Crave Control Supplement.

Is any prescription medication used in the program?

When needed, the doctor may prescribe Phentermine. This FDA-approved medication has been approved by for appetite suppression and weight loss. Its safety has been well-established and confirmed over 60 years. Side effects of phentermine may include insomnia, constipation, dry mouth, and sometimes fast heart rhythm.

During the program, patients have a weekly appointment with the medical staff and is monitored closely. Many patients do not take Phentamine and lose weight with or without the prescription.

Can I participate in the Advanced Weight Loss Program if I am already taking an anti-depressant?

Many medications for depression work by indirectly raising serotonin levels at the mood receptors, but do not raise serotonin levels at the appetite suppressant/carbohydrate craving reduction receptors. Some even lead to increased hunger and weight gain. The Crave Control supplement works by a different mechanism, and is safe when used alongside prescription antidepressants.
