 For Women Over 35

When you’re a teenager, all you want to do is buy beer. But once you hit 30 all you want to do is to get carded. -Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City

It is generally thought that after the age of 35, it all starts going downhill, but that is only one side of the story. By the time a woman reaches the age of 35 there’s a good chance she’s gone through several jobs, higher education, at least one pregnancy and a slew of other necessary evils to gain the good things in life. All of this stress and hormone fluctuation, however, isn’t necessarily kind to our outer appearance, and by the time the age of 35 has rolled around, the body’s immune and repair system starts to wane. This means that it cannot restore as much as it used to.

In addition, it is around this time that social psychology “experts” will claim that women are desperate because they are leaving their ideal, fertile years and looks behind them. But, again, that is only one part of the story. Sure, women feel pressure to retain their appearance at the age of 25, but reality is more than just appearance. Women at the age of 35 have finally started finding stable ground in their lives. They know who they are and what they want, and most often, that is to take back their body from the physical strains it has been put under.

Repairing the Skin

If we were given a dollar for every time we saw an ad or marketing campaign on television, in print, or online about the newest and latest miracle skin-care product, we’d all be very rich people. There are just so many options and because everyone’s skin is different, there’s no guarantee on which one will be right for you. There are, however, several universal truths about the skin and face that everyone experiences around this age. From 25 to 35, women will lose their baby fat and grow into their looks. Because of this, there will be a decrease of volume in the face, not only making the skin more prone to wrinkling but having the effect of losing some of that youthful vigor.

The Holistic Approach

Injections, while a possibility, don’t appeal to everyone, with good reason. There’s always a risk when forcibly injecting something into or cutting into the body. The injected substance might not settle correctly or the healing process will leave ugly unfortunate scarring. Thankfully, there is an alternative.

Medical spa treatments (medispa) have been gaining popularity. Unlike the traditional spa treatments that sound wonderful but have as much factual information to support their claims as a peddler selling snake oil, medispa treatments are FDA-approved procedures handled by certified medical professionals. Medispa treatments like Advanced Wellness’s ThermiSmooth have scientific testing and confirmed, documented results to back up their claims.

Introducing ThermiSmooth

ThermiSmooth is a procedure that works on the principles stated above. It is a non-invasive way to restore healthy volume to the facial skin without any pain or downtime. The inventors of ThermiSmooth realize that our bodies still have the potential to naturally create the volume we’ve lost over time, and so devised a way to stimulate our body’s natural collagen production. Production and strengthening of collagen in the skin, called collagenesis, is a gradual process, and smoothing and tightening changes become more apparent after several treatments. However, the ThermiSmooth procedure is quick and easy, requiring no commitment to downtime and making it the perfect solution for busy women over the age of 35.

Testimonials

“I have struggled with under eye bags forever, a hereditary gift from my dad. I have tried so many different things to help alleviate this. I was hesitant to try the ThermiSmooth treatment as other RF treatments didn’t do too much in the past. Right after I noticed some swelling, but it subsided within an hour or [so] and I noticed a tightening unprecedented with other things I have tried.I feel more confident at work, younger and I think I can see it getting better as the days go on.”    RealSelf.com review
